Mission Statement: To Help Those That Want A Second Chance!!!
                                   Where Second Chances Are Earned...
OUR MOTTO:         "NO MORE VICTIMS!!!"

Greetings my name is John Fisher
President/CEO of Blissful Enterprise Outreaches (BEO). I'm very glad  that you stopped by to see our web site; I have a lot to share with you, and I'm very excited to explain all the beautiful areas of Blissful Enterprise Outreaches to you. So lets get started!!!

First, BEO is a not for profit organization, a     501(c)(3) public charity, that was organized on 04/07/2004, for the sole purpose of helping        *ex-offenders just being released from prison with a safe place to live until they find a job, find a place to live in order to move on with their new lives more easily.
By helping the *ex-offender with these basic needs will help in the decrease of recidivism of  ex-offenders even more, thus saving the state and tax payers millions of dollars each year.

Most of all----by helping the *ex-offenders as much as one can,and encouraging them to live better lives, will help to reduce crime, which will also help out society, and less future victims.

We will be willing to work with ex-offenders to help them to learn some basic tools to  better equip them for the society that they will be going into.
Sharing with them basic living skills, social skills, work skills that will be assets in their lives in society.
We want to be there for the ex-offenders that are serious about changing their lives for the better, and to help those that are truly serious about wanting this "Second Chance" in their lives.
The ex-offender knowing and understanding that this "Second Chance" will have to be earned by their ongoing hard work, their determination, and it is NOT an entitlement, something that is expected simply because they done their time in prison.
They done the crime, they done the time, and it will be up to them to build their new lives once they are back in society again.
It will be a long, hard road, many have traveled it before them and have succeeded and so can they...

*ex-offender means= all people being released from prison on parole may it be any time sentenced offender, sex offender-time sentenced or on conditional release

According to stats from this State of Illinois the recidivism rate here is about 54%(depending on the report that you read it could be as high as 65%-75%), that is in a 3 year period of all           ex-offenders being released from Illinois prisons 54% of them will return with new cases--over half of all ex-offenders will return to prison, and this is costing the tax payers millions and millions of more dollars each year.

The State of Illinois knows this, they have and are trying more programs to help out ex-offenders as they are returning back to society;these programs are working, even more needs to be done.
Now we are in these very tough economic times, and the state is cutting many different programs throughout the state, many are to help our           ex-offenders, the recidivism of these people can be going even higher as time goes by.

BEO will soon be a part of all these programs, helping out more ex-offenders, and decreasing recidivism even more.

Blissful Entrprise Outreaches wanted to come up with some different concepts in helping both society, victims/potential victims and ex-offenders.
We know and understand that most of society would wish that all ex-offenders would stay in prison and to never get out, could one imagine the enormous taxes that we all would have to pay to keep all offenders in prison for---- life???  (Knowning to house an adult inmate that it costs about $25,000-$30,000+ per year--per person)
Also understanding that society doesn't want an ex-offender to move into their community well enough alone next door.

A lot of thought has been put into the wishes of society, victims/potential victims, plus still be able to help out ex-offenders as well..
BEO has come up with the following plans that will be able to help all concerned parties; here are some of our plans for the near future:

Serenity Acres: Will be a gated community, security 24-7. Here the ex-offender will be able to live, for the first 180 days of their parole.
While with us they will be able to slowly begin to settle into society one step/one day at a time.
We will have many different programs for them to attend, they will be involved in work details for this community, they will learn to work with and to help others, plus adjusting to a different life style then they ever had before.
They will learn to manage their time, fine tune their good working habits, and begin to do some sole surching on why they chose the life style that they did that has hurt so many people including their families, themselves.
The last month of their stay with us, a lot of time will be spent on job training programs and doing our best to get the citizen ready for the job market in society. We will do our best to help them receive a job, help them to find a place to live, and be there for them with encouragement and guidance where ever needed.

We will have a short time with our citizens and we will do what we can  as long as we see a positive response from our citizens.

This is just a few things that we have for             ex-offenders that wish to come into our programs.
Keeping in mind that a great deal of thought has went into protecting society, victims/potential victims, and the ex-offenders themselves.
